Fall in Mount Pleasant
Fall is one of my favorite times to walk the neighborhood. Changing leaves, familiar houses, and afternoon light give the streets a different character. Along Park Road toward Rock Creek Park, the landscape becomes part of what makes this place feel like home.

Decorated homes, costumes, and neighbors gathering along Lamont Street have made Halloween part of Mount Pleasant’s character. The 1700 block is known for its celebrations—a tradition shaped by the people who live there.
